Enrolling Egnyte MFA

What is Egnyte?

Egnyte is our cloud file system provider. Like Google Drive,  Egnyte is all online, and allows you access, edit, and share documents where ever you go.

Enrolling in MFA: 

MFA is critical with Egnyte to protect our company information. MFA can be used in multiple forms, we recommend using Authy on your iOS or Android device. Follow the below steps to configure your account for access. 

1. Navigate to your browser (Google Chrome) and go to https://rivermead.egnyte.com. You should see this page when you get there. 

   
   
   

2. Type in your rivermead email, and click continue. On the next prompt, enter your password. This will be the same password you use to log into your computer.
   
   
   
3. Once your password is entered, you should see this window: 

   
   
   

4. You will be prompted for two options, please select "Authenticator App" If you need to select phone number, please do so. 

   
   
   Note: If you chose SMS (Phone Number) you can skip the remainder of this guide. 
   
   

5. Follow the below steps to enroll your phone in Authy. Once complete, you are now able to sign into the desktop app.
