How to setup MFA for PCC
Note:
This is only for a select few users who are authorized to use PCC from home, or a remote location. All other nursing staff who do not routinely remotely work are not impacted.
How to setup:
1) When you log in you will be prompted with the message below. Please select an MFA app to use. In this example we are using Microsoft Authenticator.
2) On your phone, open your authentication app and add an account. In this example, we're using Microsoft's authentication app.
3) Click next on the PCC webpage, and scan the QR code with your app.
4) Once scanned, your phone should show a new revolving number. This will be used to sign in with PCC.
5) For the final step, you will verify it is paired by inputting a number as shown below.
Note: There is a box to select "remember for 30 days" I recommend we do this so that you do not need to carry your device around, if you are not used to doing so.
