Linking an Asset to a Work Order
If you’re creating a work order for a specific piece of equipment, tagging it in the work order helps Facilities find it and track how long it’s been out of service.
You can only tag an asset in a work order if you are logged in to WorxHub.
To start, create a work request and fill out all fields as usual. Scroll down and click “Link Asset?”
If you have selected a location for your work order, the asset list will automatically show you all of the equipment for your area.
If your piece of equipment does not show up, select the “Show All Assets” checkbox and search for your piece of equipment. You can search by the location of the equipment or the type. If you know the barcode number of the asset, you can search using that as well.
When you find your piece of equipment, check the checkbox next to it and click “Link Selected” at the bottom. Your linked asset will appear like this:
Submit the work order as usual.
